The $8 IKEA Parts Netbook Stand

102909netbookstand-thumb.jpgYou've got you pint sized netbook but are missing a stand for optimal viewing while you hook up a full size keyboard and mouse for work beyond surfing the web? Kathleen Henri has posted a tutorial at Instructables (looks like it has been removed) for building a laptop stand designed for the smaller dimensions of a netbook with common and affordable pieces from IKEA...a project that just costs $8.

Comprised of plastic shelving brackets, a metal handle and some non-slip pad stickers, all available from IKEA and put together with a drill, screwdriver, and hammer, almost anyone can build one of these overnight or as a weekend project.
