With only a few supplies and minimal construction, you can create your own charging dock in under an hour. This version starts out with a ribbon storage box, cuts and flips the lid for gadget cubbies, cuts a few holes, and recovers in an attractive paper.
A complete video tutorial is available here to walk you through the process.

I have figured out my own solution to this, finally. (It helps, I guess, that I never have more than one thing charging at the same time.) I've got a 5 X 7 framed picture on my kitchen counter, which is big enough to hide the chargers behind it. They only appear when something is actually charging (so I don't forget it).
