The only thing worse than realizing your remote control/razor/digital camera has killed it's batteries is peeking in the kitchen/utility closet/desk drawer and finding exactly one fewer battery than you need. No—scratch that—it's far worse to find all the batteries you need, but then to discover that they've run out of juice (Try sticking 'em in the fridge!). But what if you could make batteries last longer in standby devices like remote controls for just a wee bit longer...
This concept aims to nip the problem of early-de-charged batteries in the bud with an on/off switch.

Instead of trying to keep all of my remotes filled with batteries, i bought one harmony remote and now I only have one remote. Hardly ever buy batteries now!
