1960's Braun industrial design has been credited with inspiring many of Apple's current hardware design. We can see that. What we would have never realized is that music can also be inspired by these same stylish appliances and electronics.
German Techno: Made of Braun Gadget Samples
Braunmusic was an art project released in 1996 by German artist Johannes Wohnseifer. Have a listen here. Can you make out what's what? Can you make out a travel alarm clock?
Maybe ten years from now the evolution will continue and we will have a digital track called iMusic that samples a spinning MacBook drive or the OSX startup sequence.
