Another Ikea solution that allows you to get the clean wall mounted TV look without having to punch holes in your wall or permanently commit to a specific side of the room.

The back panel is reinforced to carry the weight of a hanging TV screen and holes in the back of the panel and storage shelves underneath let you tuck all your cables behind and out of the way. While I have not seen this in person, I am hoping that the back of the storage shelves are either open or vented, otherwise you may have to figure out a way to get air circulating yourself.
