Make Your Computer Monitor into an HDTV

2008_02_20 asus.jpg While we are currently planning on using our LCD TV as a computer monitor, Asus is doing the opposite and helping you make your computer monitor your HDTV.

The Asus HDTV Suite-HDMI sits in between your PC monitor and video source (TV, DVD player, Xbox) and processes the signal so that your PC monitor can display it...in higher quality than an HDTV according to Asus. No price is available currently but we could see this being extremely useful for a small space that can't afford to have both a TV and computer monitor cluttering up the room.

I currently do this, but with SD, I would to upgrade to HD, but I'm guessing it's going to be crazy expensive because the hardware needed to do the conversion in the box, unless they'll have the computer doing the brunt of the processing, which would take a pretty powerful machine
