Admit it: You were stoked when Duck Hunt came on the scene. But in this age, with Guitar Hero and Wii Sports, interactive and stimulating games are the norm. We're not just pushing buttons anymore. We're having video game parties and hosting friends at our homes just to play. Living Rooms are transformed into stages every night. We're off the couch and moving and singing—somewhere along the line, video games became awesome like never before.

But which is the best? GeekSugar wants to answer that question with a vote-based March-Madness style bracket tournament.

Sixty-four of the most popular video games are placed into #1-#16 seeds in four genre-specific "regions" (Cool Casuals, Fantastic Faves, Killer Classics and Old School Originals). Through the month of October, these teams will go head-to-head in 6 rounds until a true champion is chosen.
