I like the simplicity of the Mac with the antique curves of the desk, but it really looks like this person must not spend very much time actually working there! I mean... it doesn't look like there's even much room to comfortably rest one's arm on the desk while using the mouse, or keyboard for that matter. There is no room for any books. Or anything... really... useful that belongs on a desk (besides a lamp and a phone, that is). In short, it doesn't look "lived in" to me...?

@NadyaN: Oh, I definitely work there a lot. This shot was for my website's background, so I cleared the cabinet to the right out of the way for this particular photo, and the shelving to the left just wasn't in the frame.
@kdkaboom: Definitely! That's where I originally had it (with the cabinet that's now to the right of it on the left side, instead), but now that I need to use that second socket time to time I had to sacrifice aesthetics for accessibility (for now!). Once I stop needing to use that plug I plan to switch things over again. If I don't, I might just look for a nicer plate to put over those outlets.

@rjgnyc : Thank you for your reply. :) I guess it was from only the first glance, and looking at the space without the cabinets and shelves you mentioned. I stand corrected! (and I DO love your desk, and the wall colour)!
