Final Frame: The $10,000 Kitchen Computer

052609Honeywell316.jpgThe Honeywell 316 was offered for $10,000 by Neiman Marcus in 1969, complete with a stylish built-in cutting board top and recipe input and storage. The only problem was a significant one: the UI consisted of a cryptic binary front panel with lights and switches that gave very little quick glance information of what you needed to do for that perfect pot roast. But we'd love to see something like this revived for modern times...
