Flickr Finds: Wall Mounted Bedside TV

wall_mounted_TV_stand_sz_08.jpg It's not uncommon for TVs to have a home in the bedroom. We don't recommend it as we've been told that watching TV right before bed can cause Mr. Sandman to take longer, but if you must, we like this easy and inexpensive idea.

Flickr user, AMK unit for sale, had a custom shelf built for this bedroom, but we imagine that the same effect could easily be done with an Ikea Lack shelf for $20.

Too heavy for a Lack shelf to support, sadly. You'd have to add braces & brackets which defeats the look of the floating Lack shelf.

Seriously, why do people insist on ignoring the weight limits on Lack shelves? They aren't arbitrary....The things are filled with cardboard!
