Flickr Finds: David Poe's Vintage Camera Collection

121508_an_david_poe.jpgIt's disputable whether or not steampunk will stay in for the next few years, but if there's one thing from the mid-century era that we love more than anything are vintage, metal-rusted cameras from the olden days. So you can probably understand how excited we got when we accidentally stumbled upon David Poe's impressive display of TLRs collected on his apartment wall shelf.

His collection includes the Yashica 635, Yashica Mat 124 G, Kodak Duaflex, and a couple of infamous Ricohflexes to top them off. These cameras usually run from $50 to the upward $4000's, so it's not a cheap hobby by any means. However, find one at your local thrift shop and you'll have a piece worthy of a story as guests stop by and gaze at the fascinating piece of history in human technological development.
