While it seems like someone messed up big time and forgot to bring along their spirit-level along on the day that these bookshelves were put up, one could also argue that there might be some practicality in this design. For instance, like the convenience of having no book ever fall down ever again.
Bold? Clever? Perhaps in an earthquake insurance company office, but definitely not in my house. Makes my head go all wrong. Thoughts, fellow readers?

Agreed. This room is unsettling, and "seasick" is a great word for the way it makes me feel.

It is rather disturbing - not for my house........

I love it, and the added bonus of never needing bookends again is great! I think I would have picked a color other than white for them, but it is still bold.

Just looking at that picture made me nauseous. I can't imagine working or living in that room.

At first I am fascinated, though I must say that I feel seasick as well. Makes me wonder as an architect what contributes to dizziness in a design.
