Flickr Finds: Fitting 8 Screens in your Computer Rig

091908_comprig.jpgThis setup actually made me smile and drool at the same time. It's quite ingenious and fits a whole lot of screen real estate, which is a must if you use your computer daily. This setup comes courtesy of Mitch Haile's clean but sensory overloading workplace, with a total of eight displays.

The whole circular desk space concept works really well for screens. Not everyone will have a large enough home office to do this, but if you can, you can easily cobble together enough desks to get this working. In our opinion, the only negative point of this setup would be the cost of the screens. Most people would also max-out at about 4 screens. Eight seems a little overkill, but hey, if you're a designer or programmer, you'll need the space. You can check out his gallery, it's quite impressive.

not to take away from Mitch's setup, but I really don't think it's a setup worth the AT network's feature . . . personally, i think it's overkill and there might be some packrat tendencies here :)

I don't think I could deal with that many monitors. I'm perfectly happy with my duel 22" monitor setup. But as long as it works for him, that's all that really matters.
