apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Flickr Finds: Hallway Converted To Office

092608_rg_marcus_claesson.jpgFinding office space when you have limited space is always a challenge. Marcus Claesson is a twenty-something from Gothenburg, Sweden who placed his office in his hallway. That's a great idea if apartment space is limited or your room doesn't have enough space for a desk.

Marcus, who's known as Uncommon on Flickr, has been taking photos for about two years. He specializes in HDR photography. You'll find what he calls a Power Cube under his desk. It houses a Nas Server, an IPTV broadband box, and router, all stacked away in a wooden box. Another great thing is that he wall-mounted his LCD panel, which looks nice and clean.

Strangely enough, his set of photos from his apartment is called Apartment Therapy.

How wide is that hallway?

I don't think it's strange that the photos are called "Apartment Therapy". Anyone who knows this site knows how to attract the attention of those who run AT and increase their chances of being featured.

Anyway, I love the set-up, except the chair. It looks like it'd be uncomfortable for long-term use. The lens used to distort the picture make it hard to get a real sense of the space though.
