We applaud Annadriel's computer setup, and their creative use of Ikea. We quickly recognized two Expedit bookshelves configured with a cross-beam to create a desk.
While their cord control could use a little work (it looks like they were just beginning to setup their space.) We think this would be an ideal setup in a home office that needs a lot of storage. Plus the cubbies would offer ample room and opportunity to come up with creative cord control solutions.
We know some of you out there must have some creative solutions in your home, and we'd love to feature you on the site. Flaws (and cords) are ok! A great idea, either large or small, deserves to be shared.

Trestle table legs from Ikea (vika artur) and a countertop from hardware store.

The countertop is really easy to wipe clean and the trestle legs even have a small shelf for a printer.

That looks like a brilliant idea. In my old house my dad once built me my own desk, it didnât look as nice as this or have the clever book shelves but it was functional. But this looks like the perfect home office desk. Plenty of storage room but very simple. And it looks like hardly any effort to make. Most office desks take away functionality in order to have a fancy design but Iâve always liked something basic with plenty of room for my desk clutter.
