Functional art. Can speakers be stylish? This photo show us that a well-designed speaker can hold its own against an Eames design of yesteryear. Sure, quality is important, size is just as important, but do you consider how your speaker system will work with the rest of your collection?
This was a significant consideration for me when putting sound in my very industrial loft. I found sweet-sounding brushed metal eyeballs at orbaudio dot com. I put 20 of these throughout the loft - sort of their own art.
