2007-04-11-cableturtle.jpg

In need of some cord control inspiration? The cable turtle is one of our favorite cord control devices, and we found some inspiring shots over on Flickr. Not only is it good for curbing cable clutter behind your TV, but Dave uses it on almost every electronic device.

Check out all of Dave's uses for the cable turtle here.

I'm always worried about using these things, particularly for 120v power cables, around electronics. A wire with a current running through it wrapped in a coil creates a magnetic field (remember the wire connected to a 9v battery wrapped around a nail trick when you were a kid)?

Anyone have any intereference or signal problems when using these things?

Kelly- great find!

Dave - your turtles are bea-u-ti-ful! Although I could always see their practicality before, your pictures make me actually want to get a few and find places to use them...good work!
