Furniture Made of Old Airplanes and Fighter Jets

Looks like turning old airplane parts into furniture isn't just a one hit wonder. Roughly 200 airplanes are retired every year. Most go to a scrap metal graveyards to be picked apart for worthy parts. While some parts have been used creatively for housing and even limos, one new trend is taking vintage bomber planes and 747s to create furniture for homes and offices.

Home Tone posts about a new company that recycles old jetliners. Moto Art takes vintage plane parts and turns them into bed frames, desks, dining tables, and even fish tanks.

Very nice, I love that computer desk! Their stuff is frightfully expensive though - a single photo frame is $245, furniture prices aren't even listed. We should go into the scrap yards ourselves.
