Cool Mist Umbrella

2007_05_07 cool-mist-umbrella.jpgAhh, refreshing. Considering the eleven foot canopy, you will need a bit of room to house this particular umbrella. If you can spare the space though, connecting a simple garden hose to the umbrella will provide you with not only shade but a fine mist to cool you while you sip on your beverage of choice. The mist nozzles are built in to the umbrella support ribs with the supply hose running through the center of the main support pole. This would be great to sit under for a short while, but we wonder how long you can stay there before you get really wet. The LED patio umbrella seems like a better idea to us.

Well, if you live in the greater Phoenix area, most of the mist evaporates into dust before it hits your skin.

Ack! Why do I still live here????

Because nobody's ever had to shovel heat, that's why!

But yeah, as a fellow Phoenician... those mister things are a damn tease that don't do much more than mess up your sunglasses, if the mist even makes it to you.
