"I discovered the [printer] would never ship and had never been intended to ship, we were both out of money, I was still out of work, my partner did not like her program, we hated our apartment, we hated Boston, and what i had wanted to serve as a sweet gesture and helpful grad school accessory had bombed. It seemed emblematic of the entire move.
Things are better now--apartment, neighborhood, program, job--but we *still* don't have a printer."

Congrats Nora! I am eager to hear you review of the printer since we still do need one, and I think we are ready to make the plunge for quality and such quantity of functions.

I have good news too. If you have to give lexmark a call to get the thing set up, they're excellent in the customer service department. They called me back last night after escalating our wifi issue with the printer up the pipeline and I can now say, I'm comfortably printing from the living room on my dell and from the basement on the mac. Enjoy it!
