Dear AT Home Tech,
I'm interested in a AA/AAA battery charger. The range of prices and features is bewildering, and I need some help in sorting them out.
Thanks,
Francesca

I use a Sony combo that I found at Amazon - the reviews seemed to be generally positive and I have a had a good experience with the setup over the last 6-8 months.

The MAHA POWEREX batteries and charges are some of the best, if not /the/ best out there.
I've been buying from thomas dist for several years and I can't say enough positive things about them. i use rechargeable AA and AAA for every camera and remote and gadget that I own and won't use any other brand or buy from another source. I have more than 50 batteries and 6 chargers (in different locations, home and office).

Imaging Resource has a lot of good information on high capacity rechargable batteries and chargers... I own an older version of the Sony charger Craig mentioned for traveling and a Maha C-801D for the constant feeding of our set of wimotes and other AA hungry devices. I have a bunch of rechargable batteries from every possible brand, but I'm slowly transitioning to the Maha Powerex.
