Good Questions: Low Tech TV?

2007-05-25-oldtv.jpgDeat AT Home Tech,
I'm looking for a traditional tube TV. I don't mind if it has a digital tuner, but I still play some games on it and Plasmas/LCDs tend to have some delays. Do you have any suggestions for someone who doesn't want to go hi-def?

Thanks,
Bret

Hi Bret,

Apparently you're not the only one who's still clinging to the old tube TV. Cnet recently discussed the fact that the tube TV remains the best economical and feature appropriate choice for many consumers.

As for suggestions, regardless of the type of TV you choose, you need to find one an appropriate size for your space. Bigger is not always better.

Has anyone bought a tube TV recently, and have any particular brands they like?

Thanks!

There always seems to be a glut of CRT TVs on Craigslist, from people who've upgraded to HD.
