I'm looking for a clever gift for my girlfriend this Valentine's Day, but I'm not looking for diamond rings or candles - I want something that's personalized and memorable. Any ideas?

Honestly there is no such thing as a personal tech gift, although some can be coveted and even draw emotions, ie ipod/iphone, anything bang olufsen, a pleo. You can customize tech like the mix tape idea of skins above.

You could also get a nice digital photo frame with pictures of places the two of you find memorable.

What is she in to? Would she like a playlist of music? Maybe a simple video made with photos of the two of you and a song you both like.

Does she like nostalgic video games? What about computers in general? A male friend of mine MADE ME EARRINGS from computer componenets. Not only did they look really cool, HE MADE THEM. You get major points for putting time, effort, and thought into gifts.

Of course, you can always take her dancing. Trust me, this will almost ALWAYS go over well. If neither of you dances, find someplace that does lessons. It's actually really entertaining to fail utterly at dancing with someone you love. :-)
