The Lightway is a new concept from an Australian Industrial Design student named Damien Savio. It converts the suns rays during the day into light at night.

The 4 hours of daytime charge nets you 6 hours of nighttime illumination. The design is a finalist for The Australian Design Awards-Dyson Student Award which will be announced in May. He has our vote.
