SkyV HD Virtual Skylights

Imagine a high-definition skylight in any room of your choice, controlled by you. The SkyV pumps terabytes of proprietary HD footage through a multi-channel graphics processor synchronized across displays to simulate a real skylight - complete with shifting winds, rustling trees and moving cloud formations.

The Sky Factory SkyV is the most advanced high-definition presentation of illusory skies for architecture. Designed around a ceiling-mounted system of HD LCD screens integrated into a faux skylight framework, terabytes of HD content gives the illusion of the real sky.

The components:

Lighting System: Standard T5 fluorescent, or optional Sky Factory RFfreeLux™ LED lighting systems provide daylight quality light, and require 9 inches of vertical clearance.
Image Tiles: Sky Factory Luminous SkyTiles™ are translucent, high-resolution, photographic reproductions on acrylic panels that convey the color, scale and perspective of actual sky.
Elevators: Patented Sky Factory SkyTile Elevators™ hold SkyTiles above the grid, creating a robust structural appearance, like a real skylight.
Ceiling Grid: Client-provided standard or custom ceiling grid with 9" of vertical clearance.
