The new 27-inch iMac is starting a trend. Computers and HDTVs will merge in the near future. We know people who don't even have TVs anymore, nor do they have HDTVs. They do have large computer screens. The biggest iMac can already be mounted on walls, to take advantage of that beautiful LED screen and to serve as your HDTV at the same time. The one thing that is somewhat frustrating is how easy they are to scratch. It doesn't take much. A bump here, a nick there, and you end up with a scratched up mess.

Well if you are the proud owner of a scratched up iMac, you can either cover it with some stickers or give your iMac friend the ColorWare treatment. On top of coming out looking pretty cool, they'll now match whatever decor you've chosen for your room. Plus customized Apple gear is less likely to be stolen.

You'll have to pay $500 to get your own iMac painted, or pay a $700 premium to ColorWare to purchase it directly from them. We suggest sending in your own. Sure, that's quite a bit of money, but when push comes to shove and you want to restore a scratched up computer, this is a good option. It's better than having to replace the case or the screen. They also do the Magic Mouse now and they'll only charge you $30 above the usual price. That's $100. You can even get a matching painted keyboard, though those are more expensive at around $120 to paint. Options include customized colored stands and logos, as well as complete cases.
