Nintendo Controller Morphs Into Doorbell

OMG! We need this. We NEEEEEEED it. One very creative DIYer retrofitted an old school NES controller to be a doorbell. Once any button on the controller is pressed it sends a signal to the wireless doorbell module, which then chimes in.

"The module was modified a bit to deal with the relatively high resistance of the NES controller button pads as well as to add a feedback LED." The doorbell works 30 feet away from the NES controller, through walls and doors. Unfortunately the YouTube user doesn't explain how he got this to work. We're going to see if we can charm him to give us the 411.

Now to rig it to only ring the door if you know the Konami Command... Only those worthy can enter.

It should feature keyless entry -- up, up, down, left, a, b. Open sesame!
