Modding PCs and customizing peripherals is a thing we love here at Unplggd, but when we saw this leopard PC mod, we thought, when have you gone too far?
While absolutely impressive in its craftsmanship and creativity, that's a whole lot of leopard. Maybe parring down to just one of two modded components would make this DIY project a little less glaring. That said, the leopard lover who modded their PC has some great tips on how to upholster your PC. Find the right fabric and this could look super posh.
More photos after the jump...
Both the mouse casing and keyboard wrist rest were upholstered in synthetic leopard fabric.

yeah this is overboard
just a touch of that print would have been enough - not all over it.

With the right fabric, this could look neat on a couple of compenents. For instance, if you had a keyboard and a mouse that totally clashed with everything else. Or - in my case - all black components with an old grey monitor. I don't mind the clashing so much in a dedicated computer room. But now that my computer is stuck in the living room, it'd be nice to have all the bits and pieces meld a bit better with the existing decor.
I do think the full-on leapord print ensemble is a bit much, though. Maybe if I saw it in a less tacky fabric, I'd have a different opinion. I'm not much of a fan of animal prints, hah!

This is hot. Though might have been better with the words "A touch of class" airbrushed on the disc drive. If it were more understated, it would have gone unnnoticed.

no no, "a touch of class" should be written in multicolored rhinestones, dude. c'mon now.
