In addition to venting, cooling and heating the air in your kitchen (or small space), the Faber Klima hood also contains a built in air purifier. And this thing comes well insulated with sound-absorbing panels and an energy diffuser, keeping noise levels in the range of 44 - 65 dBa depending on the blower setting. The unit is class A energy efficient and contains dishwasher safe cassette air filters. Unfortunately, no word on pricing or availability.
