Do You Match Your Desktop to Your Decor?

022609_tf_desktopdecor1.jpgBeing a fan of Unplggd, we know that you have a thing for cool new technology and gorgeous aesthetics. You, like all of us, like to bring things into your space that fit your personality and make those four walls feel like home, whether it's a sleek new LCD computer monitor or a gorgeous table lamp for your nightstand. So when given the chance to customize something, like your computer desktop or screen saver, specifically, do you try to match your decorating style?

Does your desktop perfectly match the textures, colors and materials in your room like in the image above the jump? Or does it sort of mimic the style of your decor, like using Fliqlo in a contemporary room? Or does it just ignore your decor altogether and include something personal like pictures of your friends or your dog?

The desktop on my MacBook Pro is a black-and-gray damask print that I think complements my black Parsons Desk and mostly contemporary furnishings and accessories rather well.

I'd love to actually. My office is styled after Dieter Rams. I've got the Vitsoe shelves, the vintage Braun calculator on the desk, and of course an Imac. Anyone have any Rams-ish wallpapers for me?
