EcoPad Paperless Notepad from Brookstone

BrookstoneEcoPad.jpg

For all of us who find our desks or phone tables covered with sticky notes and scraps of paper at the end of the day, Brookstone is offering a stylish paperfree alternative for taking down quick notes or messages. Though we suspect the product was designed for office use, we think it could be even more useful in the home.

Brookstone offers up the EcoPad as the eco-friendly way to take notes because no pen or paper is necessary. Users jot down notes with the smooth-writing stylus and then erase the notes using the slidebar once they are no longer necessary. The EcoPad also features a built-in solar-powered calendar clock (backed up by a one button cell battery in case of low light). The EcoPad is compact and lightweight, and its $25 price tag makes it an affordable option.

Given my family's tendency to build up stacks of stick notes and paper scraps with phone numbers and messages, I know this handy desktop item will be appearing on my Christmas list.

so.... it's like one post-it note that has to be erased before you can write something else on it? how does that help people who have stacks and stacks of post-it notes?
