Ikea's Workstation Hideaway

090208_sz_ikeaofficered.jpg A couple weeks ago we showed you Cindy's closet-turned-home office. Now Ikea gives you the opportunity to create a similar mini workspace that's designed specifically for housing your computer and all its accoutrements.

The Aspvik has roll-front door that when open reveals adjustable shelves that can fit a monitor, computer, printer, scanner, you name it...

090208_sz_ikeaoffice.jpg It has a pull-out shelf for your keyboard and mouse, and a hole on its lower left-hand side that lets you lead cords through to your wall's electrical plug. 090208_sz_ikeacube.jpg
Plus you can lock up all your goods when you head off for that much needed vacay. 090208_sz_ikeahomeoffice.jpg

I love the functionality. And I'd love having a product like this for my living room, where it's necessary to store my computer for the time being. I'm just not sure I want something so refridgerator'esque sitting beside the sofa.

Change the color to black, I might reconsider. I think it would fit nicely in my walk-in closet.
