Kevin's Before & After Home Office Project

Unplggd and Apartment Therapy reader, Kevin, wrote in with his home office makeover project and shared the details of making it all happen. Plenty of details of his before and after project are included in the captions above.

I recently redid my workspace (one wall in my 10' x 10' bedroom) and wanted to share with the Apartment Therapy community. My inspiration came mainly from CB2, but I also drew some inspiration from Gregory Han's Tech Tour of his home office — aesthetically, that is. I still have a ways to go in hiding wires!

Great job, Kevin! We're glad our own home office could be inspiration for your space. And what a great reuse of the IKEA Lack shelving unit as an overhead storage solution!

i LOVE the colours! i'm still planning out my new studio, and want floating shelves, but your shelf is a lot more practical, my books won't fall off the side :) may i copy? :D
