What's most amazing about this room is that most of the furniture was created by Louis himself. That's simply amazing, it's kind of more of a DIY-room than anything else. The shelves and desk all match because Louis made them himself.

He drew inspiration for the way that his room is organized from Habitat 67, the housing complex that was built by Moshe Safdie for Expo 67. A bunch of complex blocks are arranged in a half hazard manner, looking somewhat chaotic, but beautiful at the same time. Louis used this well for his home office. It was particularly useful when he created his shelving system, which just goes all over the place, in an organic and efficient manner.
