Arizona Home for Sale Features Inspirational Décor

112508_sz_sothebys4.jpg We know that most of you aren't in the market for a home, especially one that's over $800K, but when we saw these photos we just had to share. Simply from a design standpoint, this Arizona home has some great ideas, which is why it was posted on ATLA as well. Some cool features include flooring made from handcrated pebble, and walls that go from brick, to a cement-like material, to beautiful wood paneling. Some of the partitions between rooms are really inventive, such as the wall in the kids room that features little blocks that protrude out acting like shelving for toys and picture frames.

We especially love the family room, which features a flat screen mounted on the brick wall and a mounted credenza below to hold artwork, books, and we think to hide components. Four more photos of the mid-century home after the jump...

There's no doubt that this is a great looking place, but it has one of my pet peeves and that's an "office" area that looks super, but would be very uncomfortable to actually work in with the high, hard chairs, tight leg space (because of the file drawers shoved under the tables), and cramped right hand space (your elbow would be hitting the wall!).
