Ikea's Living Room Storage Ideas

021109_sz_ikealr.jpg Occasionally Ikea sends out PDFs with ideas on how the company's goods can help organize and beautify a space. Now we're not sure about you, but we don't have the luxury of having two Philips flat screens in our living room (let alone one) so that we can watch a televised fire while the kids play video games. That said, Ikea did give out some interesting ideas for shelving DVD collections, along with maximizing space in the best spot in your house. More after the jump...

It's a PDF that goes out to the press, so I don't think I can post it. Don't want the fine folks at Ikea getting upset.

I will never understand the two TV's next to each other. It's so distracting!

What if the two adults want to watch different programs, or the kids...a TV for each person? I'd feel like I'm hanging out at BestBuy every night.

If someone can truly afford 2 Phillips flat-screens, what the heck are they doing shopping at IKEA?!

I own the Besta/Inreda unit, and I LOVE it.

This is close to what I have, but I dont have the sliding doors.

The way it's sold in stores is peice by peice, but it's way worth it.
