Loud as in Hawaiian shirt loud. I don't have a sound studio at home, nor do I think I will be needing acoustic tile in the near future, but I do agree that if you do need to have it, it never looks good. While typical acoustic tiles are gray and in the shape of either egg cartons or cones, these acoustic tiles from Altera Design Studio take soundproofing in a totally different direction.
