Samsung Armani Pavv

080608_pavv_01.jpg The bigger the better has always been the motto with TVs, but it's rare to find a tube you want to show off when it's not turned on. A collaboration between Samsung and Italian fashion house, Amani, aims to make HDTVs as eye popping off as they are on...

The plasma Pavv is available in 46-inch and 52-inch versions and includes a new technology called Auto Motion Plus 120 Hz, which reduces motion blur, which results in the Pavv having twice less motion blur than other HDTVs.
Unfortunately, to have a plasma look this good Armani and Samsung decided not to build in HDTV capabilities, but instead provide a decoder box (below). That's a bit of a drawback, since as we've seen extra boxes can be really hard to hide. 080608_pavv_02.jpg
After receiving an enthusiastic response from consumers when it made its debut at the MIlan Furniture Fair in April, the Pavv is now available for a limited time in Korea for $6,865 (46-inch) and $8,530 (52-inch). [via FarEastGizmos]

ridiculously overpriced, and you are actually sacrificing performance? for that much money it should be Samsung's best performing model in the pretty box.

yikes thats too overpriced- I'd rather buy a small flat screen for my kitchen, one for the living room, my room, and my parents room for 6K.
