This Sony Bravia HDTV panel features LED backlighting, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, 120 Hz MotionFlow tech, x.v. Color and Bravia Engine 2 image processing. This is the closest you'll get to having a window as your HDTV for quite a while. There is only one HDMI port on the TV itself. All other HDMI/USB/component ports are found on the base station, which can be wired or wireless. It will be available in Japan for $4,474 on November 10th.

the space this will reclaim in my living room will be enough to feed a small village in a third world country.
