Stuff Live Conference: Hovering Lounger and Six-Foot Tall Speakers

110308_sz_lounger2.jpgWhile Americans (real and fake) celebrated Halloween, Stuff magazine hosted a gadget fest this weekend in London. On the convention floor one could find the Hoverit Lounger, which uses repelling magnetic forces in both the bed and base to allow you to hover in mid air. Yes, it sounds like a gimmick you'd find in Back to the Future 2, but it does look slightly interesting, plus it's claimed to have medical benefits as the magnets help with back, muscular problems, and headaches.

Also on display, Ross Lovegrove's human-sized loudspeakers for Kef. The Muon is made from malleable sheets of heated aluminum and features a four-way speaker system. More photos of the chair and one of the speakers after the jump...
