Love the concept, just can't justify the price

that's only the contract price, it should retail for less. and having been lucky enough to play with it already, i have to say, it's pretty rad (and no, i don't work for hm).

Wouldn't a small fan or space heater do the job just as well for 1/10th of the price?

I sit in front of a window that gets sun on it all day , and by 3 PM I'm boiling while the rest of the office is nice and cool. I'd love this.

I need this..
Our office is freezing 360 days of the year, and burning hot the other 5....we are constantly in a battle over the temperature...I have a space heater, it only really works if you are sitting right in front of it, and it dries out my skin.

How energy efficient is that thing? Becaus if the big bosses had these around work, and we could turn down the air conditioning so the rest of the staff doesn't freeze, it might be worthwhile.

It looks great, the concept is nice, but the air intake on this thing appears to be on the bottom. Doesn't this mean that its fan will suck up dust on your desk or any paper that happens to lie near its intake?
