We've always griped about the monotone nature of electronics. How many silver and black items can you have in your house? We've come up with solutions for some of these items and rounded up televisions that play with another color -- white -- but can't companies help us out a little bit?
Well, Vizio is taking a step in the warmer direction. The Vizio Java HDTV ($650-$850) is housed in a copper-and-black bezel to match your coffee brown media station. Comes in 32 or 37 inch sizes, 1080p capability, three HDMI and dual component inputs, and 6,500:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

caca indeed. i can see the appeal of brown in the zune, but the glare on bezel of this set looks like it's trying to bring bling into your living room.

I have a feeling they overdid the highlights on these photos. The brown and copper is probably a bit more subtle in real life. Although I'm more partial to black or white for displays (computer monitors or TVs) simply because it provides a blank canvas that doesn't compete with the image.
