Hot or Not?: Computing Underneath The Stairs

031909_an_stairway.pngSurely, someone's figured it out by now. One of the sweetest places to dedicate an office workspace is right underneath a bustling staircase, turning a would-be unused part of your home into a friendly computing environment for family and friends to check mail without feeling like they're intruding on someone's personal space. While it's a matter of architecture to whether or not you can actually pull it off, we thought we'd run by the good ol' golden question...

The hardest part will probably be convincing oneself to go sleep at night - at least for us, since we're night owls for the most part. What about you, readers, care to share any staircase computing stories?

Who would consider this a not? If you a few square feet of space why wouldn't you utilize it?

this question really depends on the space. if the house/apartment is a crowded full house then this is really not a good idea. however, if it consist of no more than 3 residents then its a great idea to use this magnificent space especially in urban homes.
