As I seem to recall, a very influential design couple had great success with plywood furniture in the 1950s. Why would it be a bad idea to keep that going? If I ever learn how to use all of my husband's power tools and saws, you can bet I'll be building all kinds of things.

DIY Furniture, Ikea Mods, Craigslist diving and recreating...all great.

This specific DIY...not my style; and not hot.
