Why oh why would you need an LCD in your rangehood? We've always thought it was weird to have appliances with embedded TVs or iPod docks, but this takes the cake. Who wants to watch a TV that's almost flush against the ceiling?

Well it's about time!, I was getting angry at having to look to the right to watch the tv on the counter or the left to watch the one on the refrigerator. I no longer have to turn around and watch the one across the room in the living room. Now only if they would invent one imbedded in the counter. I also wish that TV manufacturers would also incorporate multiple Picture in picture because just one PIP is like having a tv implanted in my TV but multiple, then I will finally have the power of Blitzer and his situation room.

No matter how efficient a range hood is, there will be some ambient grease in a kitchen that is actually used for cooking. I can't imagine that will be good for the screen. And if I'm cooking at the stove, I need to pay attention to what I am doing, not be watching TV

This is an avoidable kitchen accident waiting to happen. No good.
