No matter how well you organize your closet or how early you plan the week's outfits, unexpected weather can put a glitch in your morning, drive you crazy and—worst of all—make you late...
That's why we love these three cool weather alerts that give you a heads up on how to dress and accessorize:
- Obama-Weather.com gives you a basic weather forecast for the week ahead—temperature, wind speed and whether it will be sunny or rainy—and adds in a kitchy-but-super-useful feature: Each day features it's own Barack Obama weather mascot, offered as an illustrated guide on how to dress. Today calls for jeans, a t-shirt and a jacket? Thanks, Obama!
- When you register your location and phone number or email address on UmbrellaToday.com, the site sends you a daily email or text message (at a time you specify) telling you if it's a good idea to tuck an umbrella into your briefcase.
- Sleeves is another simple online weather forecast... and by simple, we mean that it gives you the most basic of getting-ready-to-step-out info: Should you wear short or long sleeves today? Type in your zip code and get back an answer and an illustrated graphic (in case you can't read, we guess). You can even 'Homepage' the results page for an instant glimpse at your sleevage forecast every day.

For my web development class, I created a PHP app called Fashion Forecaster ~ I currently have 2 fashion wardrobe choices (from Fall 2009 @ Gap, Urban Outfitters) for guys and girls here. :)
