How to... Sync a Sony PSP with a Mac

012810_tf_PSPMac.jpgThe Sony PSP (that's playstation portable, for you non-gamers) is more than a game system. You can play videos and music, surf the Web and even make Skype phone calls. But if you've got a Mac, getting it to sync to your computer is a chore.

 
 

The PSP comes with software for transferring files, Media Go, but it only works on Windows XP or newer Windows operating systems. If you're a guy that loves his PSP and his iMac, you had an issue.

One way to get your files between your computer and PSP is to manually move music or contacts from your machine to the designated folders on PSP's memory stick.

But that's admittedly time consuming and archaic for 2010 (aren't we supposed to have flying cars?). Instead, use one of these Mac-to-Sony-PSP syncing programs, suggested by the New York Times:
