

We're thinking that the headline is intended to be reassuring, because by the time people get to complaining to the Federal Communications Commission, they're probably really ticked off. And we suspect their frustration is most likely because of all of the red tape they've encountered trying to get their issue resolved, so the FCC needs to make is easy for people to get their complaint through.

Our listening to Episode 253: The Middle of Nowhere of This American Life sparked this post. An employee of the radio station that produces This American Life ended up in MCI hell, until Ira Glass stepped in to help. At the end, a very-high on the food chain MCI employee gives out his email address to people who need helping resolving their complaints; unfortunately, the show was taped back in 2003, so we're not sure if he's still employed by MCI or not.
