Plug it into your computers USB port and capture video in MPEG4 at resolutions up to 720x480. The only problem is, after you have gone through all your VHS tapes you can't really do anything else with it. It either ends up collecting dust or has you searching for other VHS converters in need to take it off your hands.

Who says capitalism's dead? spinsLPs has a great idea. Or maybe buy a couple and offer it as a service for people. That way you could pay for the cost of converting your own tapes then put it to use when you're done.
