Lifehacker: Build Your Own Car Charger (Sans Car)

What to do when you have a solder, batteries, a car charger, but not a car? You build a portable DC accessory jack, of course!

105 of you (at last count) told us you have iPods so we know for certain this hack could be useful to at least a few of you--and we love the DIY spirit of this hack. But, if you're not feeling adventurous, another option is to score a USB Battery Box, available over at ThinkGeek for only $5.99, which is the same concept but charges vis USB cord.
